Gemma Rodríguez

Cultural manager, scriptwriter and playwright. She has a long and proven experience in the creative sector, as a manager but also as a creator of content. She is the director of PEN Català, where she coordinates the programme Escriptor Acollit (Hosted Writer), which offers refuge for a period of two years to a writer who is threatened, persecuted or at risk of imprisonment because of his or her writings. As a playwright, she has premiered her plays in Spain and abroad and has been awarded the Maria Teresa León and Serra d'Or Critics' Prize. She has also worked as a scriptwriter for television and the Internet, writing scripts for interactive documentaries and fiction series.
