Florent Vergnes

French journalist, photographer and video maker. In his work he tries to understand the tropisms that society designates as the "big bad ones" and to capture the aspirations of the human beings that compose them. He has worked as a correspondent in Myanmar, covered the Central African Republic for Agence France Press (AFP) for 4 years, then Iraq and Syria, and finally Mali. He has collaborated with UN agencies and multiple NGOs such as Unicef. He is currently based in Ukraine.
