Elvira Prado-Fabregat
Elvira Prado-Fabregat is an artist and researcher specializing in ecocriticism (the study of the cultural construction of non-human nature), speculative fiction and performance studies. She trained as a Catalan and English philologist at the UAB and the University of Edinburgh, and as a researcher in the Department of Performing Arts at the University of Bristol. She has worked on several transversal projects, such as Més lloc per a la fosca, which has led to a stage proposal (co-produced by La Fira de la Mediterrània, the Festival de Llegendes and the Àrea d'arts escèniques de Girona), an album (Bankrobber) and an exhibition (co-produced by Bòlit, the Terra Museum and the Museu de l'Escala). Més lloc per a la fosca concludes with the publication of the essays Natura fosca. Imaginació i ecologia a partir de Solitud, by Víctor Català (Editorial Barcino, 2025) and Natura mascla. Ecofeminisme a partir de l'obra de Víctor Català (Editorial Barcino, 2026). Her new project is entitled Carpe noctem.
