Edward Kaufman
Director of Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Senior Research Associate at the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland (US) since 1991 and member of the Advisory Board of Human Rights Watch/Middle East. He has been Executive Director of the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1983-2004) and has served for many years as member of Amnesty International (1978-1985) and B’Tselem (1998-2001), amongst other organisations. He has published and lectured widely on human rights and conflict resolution with special emphasis on Middle East and Latin America.
