Dubravka Ugrešić is the author of several novels, short story collections and essays. Her books -Baba Yaga Laid An Egg, Nobody’s Home, The Ministry of Pain, Lend Me Your Character, Thank You For Not Reading, The Museum of Unconditional Surrender, The Culture of Lies, Have A Nice Day, In the Jaws of Life and Other Stories, Fording the Stream of Consciousness -- have been translated into many European languages and got several international literary awards.

Dubravka Ugrešić lives as a free lance writer. She is based in Amsterdam.
