His Colorseries was without doubt a milestone in the history of club music. But fans of the experimental face of the Irish producer, in particular the extraordinary Together Is The New Alone (Mille Plateux, 2001) are in luck: Love From Dust and its excellent follow-up Stay Perfectly Still, both released in 2015, are two ambient jewels which take us back to a more sensitive and evocative Donnacha Costello. Two pieces of work recorded live using only a Buchla Music Easel synthesizer and a few effects pedals. Consequently, his live performance for Lapsus Festival 2016 wants to be identical to the original recording.
