Diego Muro

Political scientist

Senior research associate at the Barcelona Centre for International Affaris (CIDOB) and a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of St. Andrews. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the London School of Economics, his main areas of research are comparative politics, nationalism, security and terrorism. He is the author of numerous articles in academic journals as well as Ethnicity and Violence: The Case of Radical Basque Nationalism (2008) and The Politics and Memory of Democratic Transition: The Spanish Model (2011), both published by Routledge. He is currently writing a book on terrorism which will also be published by Routledge in 2017.
