David Jou

David Jou (Sitges, 1953) is chair professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a researcher in Physics of Irreversible Processes, a subject on which he has published five books and 200 articles in journals with international circulation. He has published 20 books of poetry in Catalan. Among his most recent essays, highlights include Cerebro y universo: dos cosmologías (Publicacions de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2011), La poesia de l'infinit (Editorial Viena, 2012) and Introducción al mundo cuántico (Editorial Pasado y presente, 2012).
