David Fernández

David Fernández Rafael was born in Madrid in 1975. Businessman, entrepreneur and programmer since the time of the Spectrum, he created and directed the Cyberdark.net literary community and the online bookstore to which it gave its name until the end of 2013.

He is currently Commercial Director of Lektu. In early 2014, with his firm BillionLabs, he founded Lektu jointly with the support of members Alejo Cuervo (Gigamesh) and Cristina Macía (Palabaristas). Lektu is a new kind of distributor of digital content (books, video, audio) on the present-day scene that brings a different philosophy to the relation with authors, editors and readers. Created to serve them all, it offers technology and knowledge to simplify the process of sale and purchase of the products in its catalogue. The absence of DRM, direct downloads, new payment methods and compatibility with all devices are some of the features of this platform.
