Cynthia Echave

Project Manager at the Barcelona Urban Ecology Agency and lecturer at the School of Architecture of the La Salle campus in Barcelona, she has a PhD in Energy and the Environment from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She has co-authored several academic publications and is a specialist in project management in the areas of mobility, public space, energy planning, and urban ecology strategies. Among her major projects are the mobility plan for the city of Vitoria, the superblock pilot project in Barcelona, and several urban planning projects in Quito and Buenos Aires. Working from the Urban Ecology Agency, she presently coordinates the European project GREENCAP Interreg MEd, which is concerned with promoting renewable energies and territorial development in rural areas and the Mediterranean islands.
