CUELLO (Valencia)

Based in Valencia, this project headed by José Guerrero (Betunizer, Jupiter Lion) forms part of that city’s groovy scene that’s been bringing out exciting new projects for years. What we get with Cuello is rock in a pure state, with no frills or complications, exploring raw emotion rather than looking for something new, and with great melodies you could happily listen to all the way from Irún to Tarifa, bringing together Robert Pollard, Thurston Moore and the Rivers Cuomo of 1994.
