Christie Lyons

Christie Lyons (1948) is an illustrator of publications on biology and has contributed to some of the most important and widely read books by the scientist Lynn Margulis. Her drawings are to be found in works from the late 1980s such as Five Kingdoms: An Illustrated Guide to the Phyla of Life on Earth (1988), as well as the lavishly illustrated Diversity of Life. The Illustrated Guide to the Five Kingdoms (1999). Her graphic work in the Microcosmos Coloring Book (1988) helps to make the microbial world and its inhabitants and rich habitats visible.
Participates in the exhibition "Science Friction" with the picture Termite Hindgur Organisms, 1988.
