Cèlia Carbonell Cassanyes

Cèlia Carbonell Cassanyes is the reference point for the defense of civil society space at the Center for Humans Rights, Irídia, where she focuses her work on documenting and denouncing actions that threaten or endanger civil liberties. She is also a member of Defender a quien Defiende (DqD), a state platform made up of human rights defenders, journalists, lawyers, social movements, university institutes and human rights organizations, who have organized themselves to create a warning and response system to cases of human rights violations in the context of protests in Spain.
