Carlota Sáenz de Tejada Granados

Doctor of Architecture (Extraordinary Doctorate Prize 2019), she previously studied at CEU San Pablo University with an MECD University Teacher Training scholarship. She has spent time at the Politecnico di Milano and the University of Edinburgh, and has participated for years in scientific outreach activities. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in ISGlobal's Urban Planning, Environment and Health Initiative, heading the line of research on Housing and Health. She is lead researcher in the HABITAS project (recognised by Barcelona City Council, 2021-22) on housing, health and indoor air quality, and has participated in various national and international projects on residential environment, urban and peri-urban landscape, informal settlements and sustainable urban development, collaborating with institutions such as Barcelona Provincial Council, the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
