visual journalist and documentary film maker

A visual journalist and documentary film maker based on Goma, in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, she is a student of “Social Justice Photography: Decomposing the Colonial Gaze” at the Yole!Africa Centre. She works in the field of human rights, the environment, and exploitation of raw materials, and is especially interested in subjects that testify to the resilience of the people of this region who have been affected by numerous conflicts. She participated in the documentary Stop Filming Us, by Joris Postema.
