Ariel Nahón

Filmmaker

Ariel Nahón was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. She is an amateur teacher and filmmaker. She graduated from the Universidad del Cine, and also studied theatre and dance. In addition to teaching, she is an active member of the research and production groups Colectivo Arkhé, Futuro Museo de Cine, Archivo de la Memoria Popular Villa 20 and AREA (Asociación de Realizadorxs Experimentales Audiovisuales). She has made short films, experimental videos and performative talks in which she explores the concepts of body, memory, technique and territory, shown at national and international festivals.
