Antoni Hernández-Fernández

A physicist and linguist, he holds a PhD in cognitive science and language from the University of Barcelona and is presently a Vocational Training lecturer at the School of Art and Design in Terrassa and also a lecturer in Teacher Training at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He belongs to the LARCA (Laboratory for Relational Algorithmics, Complexity and Learning) research group where he is working on the application of mathematical and physical models in the study of communication and learning systems. In the sphere of education, besides research articles and lectures given at congresses, he is co-author of more than twenty text books and audiovisual teaching material in which he has applied the knowledge he has gained in his research as well as with his experience as a secondary school, baccalaureate, and vocational training teacher in the areas of science and technology.
