Anna Sörensson

Anna Sörensson holds a degree in Physics from the University of Linköping, Sweden, and a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research of Argentina and works at the French-Argentine Institute for Climate Studies and its impacts. Her research is mainly based on the study of the interface between land, vegetation, water bodies and the atmosphere in a context of climate change and land use change in South America. She was author and coordinator of the chapter "Linking Global to Regional Climate Change" of the last report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), where she is also a member of the Core Writing Team of the Synthesis Report.
