Anna Calsina Forrellad

Anna Calsina Forrellad is a dancer, she performs choreographic works and live arts. She studied at the University of Fine Arts in Barcelona and graduated from the Professional Dance Conservatory of the Institut del Teatre. Since 2016 she has been part of the artistic research and improvisation project Groupe Pluton, with whom she has created Bright Days. Throughout her career she has worked with several artists such as Lisi Estaras and Les Ballets C de la B, Camille Boitel, Sara Vanderieck, Núria Guiu Segarra, Improvável Produções, Kotomi Nishiwaki, RootlessRoot, James Thierrée, Carlos Pez, Lali Ayguadé, Claire Ruffin, Boris Gibé or Muriel Felix. Currently, her performative practice explores ideas such as impermanence and the fragmented nature of a socio-political body. She explores themes related to how we inhabit our bodies, the boundaries of our gestures and what escapes us. She is also a singer with the band Antoine Loyer et les Mégalodons Malades. Her teaching activity includes social circus projects in Brazil and spaces of mutual care and empowerment for the elderly in several villages of the Bages region.
