Ángela Martínez

Director of the CCCB’s Audiovisual and Multimedia Department

A graduate in History of Art (UB) with a Diploma in Cinematography (CEI-Barcelona), Àngela Martínez is currently, she has worked on a freelance basis on different cinematographic projects, carrying out production work in Spain and as a post-production coordination assistant in Los Angeles (USA); an audiovisual documentarian for the production of television programmes and documentaries, for the UPF’s Audiovisual Communication Studies Media Library; documentarian and coordinator of audiovisuals for different exhibitions; documentarian and coordinator of the Project for a Computerised Video Library of Barcelona (Videoteca Informatizada de Barcelona - VIBA), directed by Manuel Huerga (1991-1993).

She has been lecturer for the subject “Multimedia Video Production and Editing” as part of the first year of the Multimedia Degree at the Multimedia School of Terrassa (Fundació Politécnica de Catalunya) and for the subject “Audiovisual Language” for the Multimedia Degree at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
