Alexandra Popartan

A researcher in the Institute of the Environment at the University of Girona, she works in the areas of urban sustainability, environmental justice, degrowth solutions, environmental circularity, and the uses of green urbanism. One of the areas where she is carrying out research is that of urban infrastructures and ethical implications of the use of digital tools for controlling and managing the water cycle. She has also studied the effects of the use of biofuels, energy consumption, and carbon emissions in several cities around the world.
