Albert Pèlachs

A lecturer in Geography at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he teaches Landscape Geography in the Master’s Degree on Territorial and Population Studies, he was technical coordinator of the Master’s Degree on Landscape Intervention and Management from 2005 to 2007, and coordinator of the module “Landscape Geography” in the doctoral course in Geography at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His area of research is the evolution of mountain zones from the geohistorical and environmental perspectives. Notable among his publications is his chapter “Dinámicas de producción de paisajes: Paisajes agrarios” (Landscape Production Dynamics: Agrarian Landscapes) in Manual de Gestión del Paisaje (Landscape Management Manual – Ariel, 2009).
