Synopsis:

When we think about Revolution, we go back to 1917, we think of Lenin and the Bolsheviks, of Rosa Luxemburg, Fidel Castro and Che, Angela Davis and the Black Panthers, of the Asturias of ‘34 and the republicans of ‘36, of the Sandinistas and Zapatistas… But what became of the revolution? This Soy Cámara, alongside the CCCB’s program of activities Revolution or Resistencia (2017), looks at some of history’s freedom struggles and their objectives, before and after, with a particular mention of 1 October in Catalonia and a final, alarming question: Is neoliberalism today’s only revolution? With the participation of Angela Davis, Arundhati Roy, David Fernández and Xavier Antich.
