Urban planning and healthy cities
The presence and location of green and blue spaces, and the mobility model depend on how and for whom we plan cities. How can urban planning help to look after our collective health? Can we imagine a city designed for walking in? Mònica Ubalde, biologist and researcher in the Urban Planning, Environment and Health initiative at ISGlobal, talks to fourth year students from Les Aimerigues secondary school about the effects of urban planning on human health.
