The third <3OR TRESOR session is a B2B party organised by Jokkoo Collective and Abundance. A B2B party is more than just a dance session – it’s a game, a challenge, an invitation and, above all, a celebration of dance music in its most authentic form.
In the B2B sessions, every 15 minutes an algorithm randomly chooses a pair of DJs from the party who get on the decks to jam out some improvised tunes. The challenge is to explore, discover and share music with different people, creating a spontaneous fusion of styles and mixes between different pairs of DJs.
At this <3OR B2B party event, the sessions will be delivered by members of Abundance, Jokkoo and family. On the evening of 11 April, the CCCB will be transformed into a venue for dance and experimentation, with light and mood installations and improvised sessions delivered by Abundance and Jokkoo Collective.
The B2B parties aren’t about competition between DJs – they are spaces for the collective enjoyment of music and for sharing authentic experiences through the explorative mixing of sounds and styles. A party for enjoying the energy and creativity generated when DJs collaborate with no boundaries and no limits. We’ll see you on the dance floor!
<3OR is a proposal from the sound artist Meritxell de Soto for dancing and enjoying music, sound, lights, visuals and new formats from artists and collectives within Barcelona’s electronic music scene.
