Sampler Sèries is an initiative by L'Auditori de Barcelona to promote new music genres. The CCCB collaborates once again with the proposal and presents the music session by the Thermal trio (Moor, Lehn, Butcher) at the CCCB Theatre.
The Thermal trio is composed of Andy Moor, a Scottish guitarist with Dutch punk band The Ex; Thomas Lehn, the versatile German musician who trained as a classical and contemporary pianist; and John Butcher, English saxophonist, composer and improviser. Three eminent figures from the European improvised music scene in one unique session for amplified saxes, electric guitar and analogue synthesizer.
