Symbiotic Itineraries
Territories in friction / Listenings in mutation
An itinerary with Carme Pardo and Eloïsa Matheu
Itineraries
The proposed route allows reflection on two questions. The first contemplates our way of inhabiting territories where the sounds of humans and non-humans (in this case, birds) often enter into friction. The second considers the types of listening that is required to perceive this territory as a means of co-habiting.
Territories in Friction
- Plaça Catalunya: the pigeons of Barcelona
- The Plane Trees along the Ramblas: occupying the holes
- Museo Pedagógico de Ciencias Naturales: visions and listenings in friction
Listenings in Mutation
- The gargoyles of Santa Maria del Pi
- The Liceu opera house and birdsong
- Everything goes to the sea. Listening: co-habiting
