Five days of free concerts. Over 35 musical performers and groups. The Primavera Sound 2019 comes to the CCCB with Primavera al Raval. Can you afford to miss it?

For the fourth consecutive year, Primavera al Raval conquers the heart of the city. During most of the festival week, from Wednesday 29th May till Sunday 2nd June, the meeting of the music industry Primavera Pro offers dozens of showcases, free of charge, on the stage Day Pro in the Pati de les Dones of the CCCB, on which emerging artists from all around the world perform.

This year the huge party is concentrated on Sunday 2nd June on two stages Joan Coromines Square and CCCB’s Pati de les Dones. There are concerts by international artists of the calibre of Filthy Friends the super group featuring Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney), Christina Rosenvinge who is at her very best and Cupido, the band of the moment on the Spanish urban music scene formed by Pimp Flaco and Solo Astra. The programme is completed by the promising local newcomer artists Lil Moss and Aleesha, and by a new morning edition of minimúsica to start off Sunday’s programme.

For those who still want more, the showcases on Primavera Pro take over the Pati de les Dones of the CCCB for five extensive days from Wednesday 29th May to Sunday 2nd June, all of which are open to the general public as well as to the professionals from the music industry who will meet there. A selection of artists and emerging bands from countries such as South Africa, Chile, Australia, South Korea, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Hungary, Ireland and Taiwan bring sounds from every latitude and longitude to Primavera Sound.
