Once again, the CCCB joins the 70 arts centres in Barcelona and the metropolitan area taking part in International Museum Night and Day on 17 and 18 May. The Centre opens its doors free of charge and offers the following activities:
MUSEUM NIGHT – Saturday 17 May, from 19:00 to 01:00
FREE EXHIBITIONS: "Metamorphosis. The Fantastic Visions of Starewitch, Švankmajer and the Brothers Quay", "The Start of Tomorrow. Mancomunitat of Catalonia: 100 years", "Shared Cities" and "Big Bang Data"
Starting at 20:00. THE "METAMORPHOSIS" MARATHON: Sublime desire. Surrealist, constrained and even fun—that's the kind of pleasure featured in the films shown in this marathon session, designed to be enjoyed in good company.
From 14:00 to 20:00. ANIMAC presents. Stop-motion, yes! Selection of recent films made using an animation technique that's as old as the cinema.
