Albert Camus Evenings
"Moved": Poetry for Palestine
Farah Chamma and LIEV
Debate + Scene
In this artistic proposal, Palestinian poet Farah Chamma and Brazilian musician LIEV, who form the duo Chamæleon, denounce the genocide in Gaza and reflect on human fragility and vulnerability.
Chamæleon proposes with this project a journey from the most intimate to the most political and collective. With texts by Farah Chamma herself and works by Palestinian poets currently in Gaza, Chamæleon explores the intersections between the spoken word, images and musical textures, with both electronic and organic sound elements. The result is a high-voltage artistic experience that invites us to walk through the knot of feelings generated by war, while persisting in the hope of not losing the sense of a shared humanity.
This event is organized in collaboration with the PEN Català and the Trobades i Premis Mediterranis Albert Camus, held every year in Menorca and which vindicate the figure of the French writer as one of the humanist voices that continue to help us to look critically at our present.
Participants: Farah Chamma, LIEV
