I+C+i - New Challenges, New Priorities

Ekow Eshun, Artistic Director of the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London, and Ferran Barenblit, Director of the CASM (Centre d’Art Santa Mònica) in Barcelona, will establish a dialogue around the strategies and the positions from which they direct these culture centres. From their experience as privileged observers of trends, in this session of I + C + i we will speak about the role of cultural institutions in present day society, of the generation of interest and capturing of public and of the concepts of programming that favour the emergence of a new culture.
