Georges Didi-Huberman

Free with pre-booking

A philosopher and art historian, Georges Didi-Huberman is a European thinker of reference who has inspired creators of all disciplines and generations. In a context of unlimited proliferation of images and public exhibition of emotions, the curator and author of the exhibition on display at the CCCB: "In the Troubled Air... Image, emotion, utopia" offers a poetic and critical look at emotions, a thesis that will be developed in the inaugural lecture.

The thread that opens this talk will be further explored in the course "La imaginació crítica" (Critical Imagination) at the Institut d'Humanitats de Barcelona and in the exhibition "Georges Didi-Huberman. Al taller del filòsof" (Georges Didi-Huberman. In the Philosopher's Workshop) hosted by the Filmoteca de Catalunya.
