A series of recent films woven around the idea that there is a deep-seated relation between film experimentation and early cinema. They all seem to work with the impressive arsenal of techniques of illusion and mechanisms of attraction of early cinema. The session contains the latest film by Peter Tscherkassky, who received the Orizzonti Prize for the Best Short Film at the last Venice Film Festival.
