Docúpolis 2007

Docúpolis is the place to find out all about the latest in documentary and the thematic, aesthetic and conceptual trends around the world, with a selection of works by the most committed and talented documentary-makers.

 

The festival comprises two main fields:

The international competition, including cash prizes (DOCÚPOLIS, GRAN ANGULAR TVE de Catalunya and Emedia para OPERA PRIMA) and honorary prizes (TERCER OJO, HUMAN RIGHTS, Best Latin-American Documentary, the PUBLIC prize and EL HOMBRE DE LA CAMARA).

And the parallel activities that include: the Slovenian retrospective "The New Europe"; Delicatessen; Festival of Festivals; Catalan Version; Rescat and OFF Docúpolis. Plus the seminar Documentary cinema with Patricio Guzmán and presentations of films by their makers.
