This session presents a series of pieces in super-8, a format that was created in 1965 and is still used today, and others from the subgenre of found footage film. Some of the works combine the two, such as For/Against, by Eugènia Balcells, or Súper 8, by David Domingo. This programme establishes a dialogue between filmmakers from different generations: those who formed part of this avant-garde incursion into the field of experimental cinema based in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia in the 1970s (spearheaded by Eugeni Bonet, Juan Bufill, Manuel Huerga and Eugènia Balcells) and the new generation to have emerged since the late 1990s.
