Free
In this conversation moderated by the journalist Anna Pazos, the philosopher Clara Serra and filmmaker Elena Martín, contrast the tensions and ambivalences of desire faced with attempts to regulate it.
Women’s sexuality is punctuated by debates around desire and consent which, beyond legal frameworks, have been addressed by feminism for several years. Faced with a question where absolute truths do not exist, Clara Serra, philosopher and author of El sentido de consentir (Anagrama, 2023), and Elena Martín, filmmaker and director of Creatura (2023), explore sexuality, intimacy, and vulnerability to shed light on their contradictions.
Martín and Serra discuss the nuances of guilt, the paradoxes of desire which do not always align with what is considered to be good or normal, and how to deal with things we cannot clearly define and which remain outside the contours of consent. In this conversation moderated by journalist Anna Pazos, author of Poder i desig (Fragmenta, 2023), the authors will reflect upon the complexity of these questions in order to push forward a debate that is far from being over.
