Carla Rovira
La sal
Scene
Carla Rovira uses salt as physical matter in a stage installation to reflect on aspects of salaried work, obligation, new forms of slavery and the more structural aspects of neoliberalism.
The audience is invited to make its way through various scenes and travel to different eras in which salaried work has played a fundamental role. Salt, a precious exchange commodity, is present throughout this installation, and the reflections of the characters who inhabit the scenes connect past and future to reflect on different aspects of our relationship with work and wages.
