Alice in Wonderslam: Gran Slam Barcelona

Barcelona Poetry Slam celebrates year two of the Barcelona Grand Slam, an oral poetry contest with an international scope that brings back to our city some of the world’s foremost slammers to compete against the participants in the poetry slam held every month at the CCCB. Three minutes, no props and no music. Voice, poetry and interpretation are the only tools at the disposal of the participants to convince the jury that their performance is the best. Seis en raya and Set sentits will offer a team slam exhibition.

Another unforgettable night when audience and poets come together in a love for the word that rises above borders and languages, on this occasion paying tribute to an Alice who, in Wonderland, discovers the power of language and its capacity to subvert reality.
