Accompanying film cycle to "Erice - Kiarostami. Correspondences"

The aim of this programme of screenings is to complement our presentation of the two filmmakers featured in the exhibition "Erice - Kiarostami. Correspondences". The first session includes their first works, which were released at the same time though following as yet quite separate paths. Alongside the cycle that the Filmoteca de Catalunya will be devoting to the full-length films of Abbas Kiarostami, the second session in our cycle explores the fictional works of Víctor Erice. And it is in the final session of a double programme that we establish a direct relation between two of their masterworks, centring on a universal vision of the challenges of creation.
