Andy Clark

Andy Clark és professor de Filosofia Cognitiva a la Universitat de Sussex. És autor de diversos llibres, entre ells Surfing Uncertainty: Prediction, Action, and the Embodied Mind (Oxford University Press, 2016), Mindware (Oxford University Press, segona edició el 2014), Supersizing the Mind (Oxford University Press, 2008) y Being There: Putting Brain, Body And World Again (MIT Press, 1997). Els seus interessos acadèmics inclouen la intel·ligència artificial, la cognició corporitzada i extesa, la robòtica i la neurociència computacional. Del 2017 al 2021 va ser investigador principal d’una beca avançada del Consell Europeu d’Investigació: Expecting Ourselves: Embodied Prediction and the Construction of Conscious Experience. Actualment és investigador principal de l’ERC Synergy Grant, XScape. Material Minds: Exploring the Interactions between Predictive Brains, Cultural Artifacts, and Embodied Visual Search.
