Silvia Clemares has always felt a great fascination for the Internet, the digital world and its implications in our social and cultural transformation. Firstly as a user, and later as the person responsible for defining and implementing the web platform, the initial online marketing strategy and the digital business model of publishing group Grup62. She is currently Senior Publisher Relations Manager of Kobo for Portugal, Spain and Spanish America. In this position she works with a large range of international publishers to commercialise its digital contents and reach the maximum number of readers possible.

Having trained professionally in France and as an anthropologist in Barcelona (Degree, UB) and the USA (MA, UNM), today she is on the staff of the UOC’s postgraduate course on Books and Reading in the Information Society.
