Journalist and writer

Llucia Ramis Laloux (Mallorca, 1977) studied Journalism in Barcelona, where she now lives. She contributes to El Periódico, El Mundo, Ara, Time Out, El Estado Mental and the websites Catorze and Fotlipou. She was editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Quimera, director and presenter of the TV programme about books Això no és Islàndia, and assistant coordinator of the Tendències culture supplement.

Her novel, Egosurfing (Destino), won the Josep Pla Prize in 2010, when she was also honoured by the Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel prize of Obra Cultural Balear. In 2013, she was awarded the Time Out Creator Prize for her book Tot allò que una tarda morí amb les bicicletes (Columna/Libros del Asteroide).

Her first published novel was Coses que et passen a Barcelona quan tens 30 anys.
