Joseph Brodsky

Christophe de Ponfilly and Victor Loupan, France, 1989, 57', OVS. French.

On 10 December 1987, Joseph Brodsky, a Russian poet and writer resident
in New York, received the Nobel Prize for Literature. Respecting the
artist's will not to talk about his life, the directors manage to evoke
it by putting the emphasis on his personality and, especially, on his
poetry.
