Anniversary Promenade. Joan Vinyoli tribute

The next biennial edition of Kosmopolis. Amplified Literature Fest will be held in 2015. Until then, a programme of literary activities keeps the festival’s spirit alive over the course of the year. On this occasion, we are hosting an event of Vinyoli Year, which has been held during 2014 to coincide with the centenary of Joan Vinyoli’s birth and thirty years since his death.

In recent years, Vinyoli has become a poet of reference for new Catalan writers. His work has been re-edited and he is one of the poets most often cited by his fellow poets of the 21st-century. At an evening event presented by David Castillo, Miquel de Palol will offer a portrait of Vinyoli, and poets from several generations will recite a selection of his poems covering his entire career. Thus, Núria Martínez-Vernis, Blanca Llum Vidal, David Caño, Josep Pedrals, Enric Casasses, Mireia Calafell and Francesc Parcerisas will take us from Passeig d’Aniversari to A hores petites, passing through Domini màgic, El callat, Tot és ara i res and Ara que és tard. We will close the session with The NewCat & Andrea Motis & Joan Chamorro.
