Jorge Albi
DJ and radio announcer
Born in Alcoy, Valencia, in 1959, Albi has been a DJ and professional radio announcer since the early 1980s. In 1985 he began as resident DJ in Barracabar—the satellite pub of the discotheque Barraca—combining this job with his radio programme La conjura de las danzas (Intervalencia, Radio Color). The programme organised an annual festival of concerts from 1987 to 1990. These were held at Barraca except for the last one, which was held in the Arena Auditorium.
