Helena Castellà Duran

Politologist and advisor at the European Parliament

Helena Castellà Duran has a degree in Political Science (Pompeu Fabra University) and a master’s degree in Public Policies, Labour and Welfare (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Specialist in gender, migration, human rights and the extreme right wing. She has worked as a research and coordinator on various social projects and is currently an advisor on public policies and human rights at the European Parliament. She is a member of Observatori iQ and board member of the Human Rights Institute of Catalonia. In 2017, jointly with the Josep Irla Foundation, she published the report “The far right, a European phenomenon”.
