International conference as part of the events being held in 2011 to mark the centenary of the birth of Marshall McLuhan (1911-1980), one of the most famous figures in communication studies during the last century. Within the framework of the congress to be held in Barcelona from 23rd to 25th May, the CCCB will organize several talks aimed at introducing a situational and virtual public to the main ideas of the Canadian visionary.
